Tradition Tournament roster issue sold cards

When I sell duplicate cards it is removing the cards that are on my tournament rosters leaving the team short players. This issue occurred in PT20 and was fixed PT21 and PT22 and is back in PT23. After selling off an number of duplicates I was left with just 4 players on my tournament roster.

This is a lingering effect from a problem early in '23. Original cards were marked as duplicates if you acquired another copy. You should be fine going forward as long as you check that none of your current tourney cards are considered dupes.

But that is the problem, I am selling dupes based on the dup filter. You will only see 1 card but which could be the card that is on the tourney roster. There has never been a way to see if a card is being used in a tournament.

As I said this would happen all the time in PT20. In PT21 and 22 this was fixed and you did not have to worry if you about your tourney rosters missing cards because of the sale.

The only way to know if a card was removed because of a QS or SO is to check the roster after the fact. I know that isn't a big deal but it is a QOL fix that was in PT21 and 22.

This happened to me as well. I sold a large number of duplicates and it decimated my tournament rosters, even though I still had another copy of the player.

The "duplicates" filter has to list those "cards" NOT already slotted for tournament use.

I'm pretty sure that the duplicate definition problem in '23 was fixed a while ago, but it left residual issues. I've been quite slack and left plenty of dupes on my tourney rosters, so I've had to be careful not to sell copies from within PT. Much safer to sell from within the tourney rosters.

To 'clean' things up, you need to go into your tourney roster, filter to hide all duplicates and only build your roster with the non-dupes that now show - replacing any duplicate copies that may be on your roster. After doing this, you should now be able to sell any cards from within PT when filtering to only show duplicates.

However, it would be cool if a dev could confirm this, incase I'm mistaken!
