Need help importing stadiums to OOTP 23 on a mac
I just ordered 23 and I can't figure out how to get the historical stadiums that I downloaded into the game. Can anyone point me towards a tutorial or instructions? I have a Mac Book Pro if that makes a difference.
Thanks

The Game: thanks taking the time to answer and for the YouTube clip, but it didn't work on a Mac for me. Doing a little digging, I found FlyHawk's instructions to me back when OOTP 21 came out. I didn't think it would work on the new 23, but it still does! Now I can play my 1938 Cincinnati Reds again. Here's his instructions for future reference:
It took a while, but I finally found a way that worked for me on my Mac. From the OOTP start screen, click on the Settings tab in the lower left hand corner of the screen. On the inset window that pops up, click on the Troubleshooting tab in the upper right hand corner. Click next on Open folder containing customizable data, then open the ballparks folder. After you have downloaded the historic parks folder, unzip the individual files directly into this folder (I chose to do this because all of the current parks files that come with the game are set up that way in the ballparks folder, rather than being enclosed in folders). After taking these steps, the next time you start any given game you have created, go to the team home screen for whichever team to which you want to assign one of the historic parks. Use the Info and Ballpark tabs to bring up the Edit Ballpark tab in the upper right hand corner. After clicking that edit tab, use the Actions tab and then choose the drop down option Manually import data from file into this park. You will be prompted for the .prk file and will need to enter (or select from drop down options) the desired .prk file here. After this, you will still need to click on the 3D Model tab from the same ballpark editor screen to be prompted for the .obj file for the park you desire. Enter it and your desired historical park should now be assigned to the team you selected.

Gary, another thing you might consider is dragging your OOTP Baseball 23 folder into your dock. I've been doing this for 15 years and it saves a literal TON of time. It makes adding things a snap.
