Relegation league has three openings

The National Baseball Association (NBA) is just finishing up its 4th season. As we enter 2025, the league will be moving over to OOTP 23 (from OOTP 22). We are a relegation league with 18 teams in the top division and 12 in the 2nd division. The bottom three teams get relegated based on regular season performance while 4 teams make the playoffs in the 2nd division, the 2 semifinal winners get promoted and the two losers face off for the 3rd spot.

We currently have three openings:

San Francisco - Coming off an 81-81 season in the RBL (2nd division), the Giants missed the playoffs by 7 games. With a few of their top prospects just graduating, they have the 20th ranked farm system, but will be picking 7th in next year's draft.

Tampa Bay - The Rays went 88-74 in the RBL, which was good enough to claim the last playoff spot. They then went on to win their semifinal matchup and will be facing off with Nashville (formerly Pittsburgh) for a year of safety in the top division next year. Likely MVP, Wander Franco, leads a young Rays core, who also have the 13th ranked farm system.

Washington - The Nats staved off relegation this year, finishing 3 spots and 4 games ahead of the final relegation spot, with a record of 75-87. Juan Soto just led the league in OPS and is under contract through 2031. The Nats have the 24th ranked farm system.

Yes, sorry, I meant to post the S+ in the original post but forgot. All three are still available as of now.

Update: Tampa won the RBL and has secured a year of safety in the top division.

Giants have been filled.

We also have a new opening:

Quebec City (formerly Baltimore) - The Admirals, unfortunately, were the final team relegated this year, finishing 71-91. However, they do have young stars in Adley Rutschman and Heston Kjerstad, among other young core players. They have the 14th ranked farm.
