FHM 8 Crashing after 1st season

I just got FHM8 ( I know 9 is coming soon) the game is great. Problem is I started a season NHL with AHL and the 3 junior leagues got done the season. It gets to July 1st. I can save edit but at that point I try to advance the game says its advancing and shuts off and its gone. Try again same thing. Its the only game on the game. I also have virtually nothing on my computer. Clueless.
I dont want to have to register for thousands of forums and get thousands of emails I just want an answer is this common? Can it be fixed and if so can it be fixed easily?

If it's crashing, there's likely a reason.Can you upload your file?

How do I do that I read the link and dont get where the file is I need to upload or how to

Start Your Game:

the easiest method is to go to the Start screen, then Settings - Troubleshooting and Open Customizable Data Folder. You'll be able to see your saved_games folder from there; the individual saves have .lg extensions.

Copy the file to like your desktop. Delete all the folders inside (or at least the graphics folder). Then zip the file. Upload it to something like Dropbox, then

send the link to me either in a forum PM or an email to jeff@ootpdevelopments.com.

I cant even find a customize data folder when I follow those steps. Its in an Lg file? I am lost. I try to google ways to find out how and all I find nothing helpful.

That is the easiest method. Is there another method that does not seem to work. I found the file it wont let me compress it. I am fairly green. Is this fixable in a manner a beginner could send the file in an easy step by step way or is this a waste of time. Its a great game.

This is the easiest method, so let me walk you through it again.

Start your game.

Click on Settings.

Click on Troubleshooting.

Click on Open Customizable Data Folder.

Click on Saved Games.

Find the file you are having issues with. Right click on it. COPY.

Go to your desktop. Right click. PASTE.

The file will copy to your desktop.

Open the file. Hi-light graphics folder. Right click. Delete. Repeat this for import_export, rs_one, rs_two, settings, sound and temp.

Now. If you do not have a zip program, download and install 7zip. When you have it installed, right click on that file you have on your desktop that is your game. You'll see an option for 7zip, and then "add to archive". Zip it. Now, go to something like Dropbox.com, and upload that file and either PM or email Jeff as listed above.
