Historical Expansion Draft

I am playing a historical league starting in the 1960s. 61 and 62 expansion drafts worked fine, but I am having problems with 68/69 draft (after 68 season). Expansion teams have been added and protection lists created. The expansion draft is scheduled but when I get to the date of the draft I get a notice in the news that the expansion draft is today, but when I go to the league dropdown there is no expansion draft option to select. I would appreciate assistance in getting the draft to work. Otherwise I will have 4 teams without any players other than free agents. Thank you.

Is there a Continue Draft option in the top-right of your screen or in your Play menu? Is there an option to sim until the expansion draft in your Play menu? Have all protection lists been submitted by the teams in your league?

Supposedly drafts won't take place until all pre-draft activities have been completed, so maybe your protection lists aren't completed.

Thanks for the response. I had scheduled a free agent draft for right before the expansion draft. I completed the free agent draft and went to the next day. The expansion draft was scheduled for that day. When I entered the expansion draft protected lists were complete but the draft was set up as if it were a free agent draft and would not work (start draft button was grey). I had to go back to an earlier saved version of the game and replay. I did not schedule the free agent draft until after the expansion draft was complete. This time everything worked properly.
