CHL Trading Issue

Hey all - I just started a game in the Q after the most recent update, and some of the trades seem pretty out of whack.

Started on July 1st, and on July 2nd there was some pretty wild trades that make very little sense.

Trade 1

Moncton trades:

Lounsbury (1* ability, 5* potential, 17yo)
1st round pick

just to get

Bedard (1* ability, 3* potential, 18yo)
McDonagh (0.5* ability, 3* potential, 17yo)

Trade 2

Bathurst trades

Perron (2* ability, 5* potential, 17yo)
1st round pick

to get

Jacques (1* ability, 2* potential, 17yo)
Campbell (1* ability, 4* potential, 17 yo)


Trade 3

Bathurst trades:

Kidney (4* ability, 5* potential, 19 yo, 3rd best player in the league)

for a return of

Tremblay (1* ability, 4* potential, 18yo)
6th round pick



The first two are teams giving a top prospect AND a 1st, in return for two players who will never really be more than roster players.

The last one is the 3rd best player in the league being moved for a roster player and a 6th. Kidney will likely move for a massive haul involving prospects and multiple high draft picks in a month IRL.

I'm currently using commish mode to balance these deals out - otherwise Bathurst would have totally destroyed their team on the second day of the sim, heh.

Additionally, I've noticed teams in "win now" mode are actively trying to trade their best players.

In this case, Gatineau and Quebec are the two best teams in the league. Quebec are trying to move Bolduc (best player in league), and Gatineau are trying to move Dean and Nadeau (both top 10 players).

The Gatineau thing is especially odd since they just bought Kidney, as mentioned above, so they are just all over the place.

Sounds like something may be off with some of the new (internal) trade type logic is working with junior leagues, I'll have a look there.
