Historical Mode - can´t get past July 1st

Started a Historical game in 1973 unemployed, simmed through the season, took over the Kansas City Scouts on July 1st, tried to advance one day to the Expansion Draft and then this happened.....

....no way to continue - any help or info appreciated

I'm not getting that error when I try the same thing. Did you change anything in the league structure? That may have broken the playoff system. At any rate, if you go to league-edit and the Rules tab, you can select a new playoff system that will let you continue.
