HOF dates not showing up in menu

Hi

So I recently retired in a save and created a new character for the sim. But, it seems, the Hall of Fame stuff (i.e., induction, voting, etc) isn't showing up in the "Play" menu. The events still occur - I was still able to vote for the Hall - it's just that I can't tell the game to "Sim To.." that event - I have to remember what date they usually occur in and use "Specific Date" to get there. It's likely a simple cosmetic issue, but it's still annoying.

Can't seem to replicate this after trying in a few different saves of multiple types. What was the exact timing of the retirement - same day as in the screenshots, or earlier?

I retired on July 1, and created a new character then. This is July 1 of the next year. The guy is a manager of a junior team, not sure if that's part of the issue.

I want to add the events still take place, they just don't show up as dates I can sim to in the "Play" menu.

So it seems to happen anytime I use the "Take over New Team" function, as opposed to accepting a job from my messages.
