28 years old, hitting his prime, leading the league in Wins and ERA this year.

Now the question becomes, in the irony of ironies, does he deserve a HOF plaque?
Like Koufax, was he dominant enough to earn one?

I applaud your self-control in not just going into commish mode and reversing this (pretending it was a bad fever dream, never happened!). I'm sure I would be tempted to. (Though I respect my fictional universe too much also to actually muck about with the fictional "reality" like that.)

Given that OOTP doesn't offer the chance of a true Damon Rutherford/J. Henry Waugh type outcome, this seems about as close as OOTP comes. And yeah, heartbreaking indeed.

FWIW, I think he deserves to be in the HoF based on the screenshots provided. Can you share more of his stat lines? I'm really interested in seeing how all of his numbers played out and finished.
