Fill me in!

Checked the board for the first time in a long time just seeing if there were any updates on the new game.... Yikes. What did I miss?

All of the threads that have serious traction at the moment are specifically talking about users getting banned, threads getting removed and developers intentionally locking or deleting everyone's saves??????

I haven't played OOTP or checked the board in a really long time, so can someone give me a general summary of what all this drama is about?

I'm not trying to stir anything up, but obviously if the wheels are falling off the bus here I'd like to know that given that a new version of the game is normally kinda-sorta prepping for release right about now.

Can someone give me the cliff notes of all this insanity?

I don't think the OOTP Community wants to rehash all of this and reopen the volatile and hostile discussions.

I suggest you look at the thread titles on OOTP23 and perhaps you can get the general gist of what has been discussed.

Basically, the question was where will the new ownership take OOTP... so far those discussions have not been productive... we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for OOTP.

OOTP 24 is on schedule same as any other year. Still a bit early for an official announcement.
