Prompt to send runner happens before the animation is rendered

When the user is prompted to send the runner to 3rd or home, there is a bit of a delay... then the pop-dialog asks. Only after answering does the outcome of the play show.

It flickers too -- the prompt goes on and off a couple times ... I'm on a PC.

Can also confirm flicker on Mac.
