Linux+Steam BSOD Solved?

ScottyB Minors (Rookie Ball) Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 29	Linux+Steam BSOD Solved? Linux Mint 21.1, fully updated, kernel AMD drivers. Was getting the black screen of death, no recovery at random times, 2D, 3D, sometimes changing screens, sometimes in between pitches, unable to complete a single game, i.e. 100% failure. In Steam, Settings->In Game, unchecked Enable the Steam Overlay In Game In OOTP, Settings->3D & FaceGen, changed Audience Detail to Simplified. Have played a few games and it hasn't crashed yet. Here's hoping... Edit -- nope. Did 2 games beautifully. 3rd game full crash, not even a BSOD. I'll try to post a debug when it happens again. Last edited by ScottyB; 03-25-2023 at 06:46 PM.
