2023 MLB Schedule
Has anyone made it out of 2023 and on to the 2024 season? Just curious if OOTP flips the schedule for the home and away interleague games when you move season to season?

I believe they do automatically flip, although I'd like a definitive answer to that as well. |

So, not fully.
I checked one team (Detroit), and they play one series against 14 NL teams and two series (Home and Away) against Pit in 2023. In 2024 they played one series against 14 teams, and Home and Away against Cin. Removing Cin and Pit (since they had one year of a Home and Away) leaves 13 teams- 6 of them flipped between 2023 and 2024, and the other 7 didn't. edit- Did another sim, and the Detroit series against the NL were different in 2024 than in the first sim. So looks like it's not deterministic and is just some sort of algorithm/randomness within whatever given constraints. Last edited by MathBandit; 04-08-2023 at 05:12 PM. |
