Bought player - didn't show up...

I purchased RF Matt Wallner for 950 PP (see attachment 1) to finish a mission, "Live Level 2 - Minnesota" and he never showed up on roster. (see attachment 2). It didn't complete the mission either.


Out 950 points I think this happened once before but I figured I made a mistake...

The 950 was only for a buy order. If there was nobody selling at the price, then that order will stay in your "my orders" page until you cancel it or someone sells it at the price.

If you used the "buy now" button for the card, it's possible that someone else bought it before your order went in. I know we're working on updates to warn when that happens, but that might be possible as well.

I placed the buy order at the same price it was listed at (950) and it appeared to go through (showed up in Transactions) but the player did not and the mission didn't show it. However, 34 minutes later when I checked (2:07 to 2:41 per Transaction screen) the player showed up and the mission completed.

It's almost like I must have hit the button at the exact time as someone else and only got part of the transaction... then at 2:41 someone else listed him for the same price and the game completed it???

That is how the buy orders actually work. The buy now button doesn't actually buy that card, it places a buy order at that price. Usually there is a standing sell order at that price (since that is where the number on the buy now came from) so it completes the transaction immediately. If the sell order is removed (either through it being fulfilled or canceled) before the buy order is placed, that buy order is simply placed like it would be if you went through the normal buy order interface.

Since the card shop only refreshes every 60 seconds (or on request) there could be buy now options that no longer align with the lowest sell order.
