MLB apparently ridding of floating logo above NOB

After seeing multiple photos from recent player-signing press conferences, after a two year tenure, the league is apparently tossing the jersey style that features the odd choice of placing the MLB logo well below the neck. This caused a one year style of terrible-looking, very small font NOB lettering in 2024 and it still looked weird in '25. Looks like the MLB logo is going back to right around the neck collar, where it was placed when it first appeared on jerseys in 2000, thru 2023. Thank goodness.
For reference, the Soderstrom and Alonso photos are from recent press conferences, the Ohtani photo is from last year.

I heard they are changing the material of the uniforms too as per the players recommendations.

After the issues/complaints to start 2024 the decision was made to mostly go back to how things worked prior (decision made about halfway through 2024 if I remember correctly)...with the caveat that it was going to take a while for the manufacturing to catch up. For 2026 they should mostly be back to pre-2024 quality, I believe.
