Historical Crashing on 03/07/1917

Hey all, I've started a save from the very first year; 1909 and have played up to the first year of the NHL. When I created the save file I selected to use the sponsorship system before 1963, but there is a draft that has spawned on the current day, and my game crashes when I try to progress any further. Any help?

File was uploaded with the name HabsHistRevisals.rar

Yeah, definitely something broken there - I think it's creating the new NHL with a draft despite the sponsorship system being on, and then it crashes because there are no players for the draft (since they all start on a team.) We'll get that fixed.

any ways to edit the .DAT file ? or change the game options within the game itself ?
