College Draft Question/National Signing Day

So, I get to November 10th for National Signing Day, and I was able to select my first three picks. But in Round 4, I couldn't select a player. When I nominated him, my only choice was "Don't offer him a scholarship?". But when I click AI Nomination, a player is picked for my team? And I made sure the player had just a one year contract like the players previously selected, and I still couldn't make the selection?

How many graduating seniors did you have? If you only had 3 available scholarships for the following year and you'd given out 3 full scholarship offers to the other 3 picks, then you'd no longer be able to offer a full scholarship. However, you'd be able to make an offer of no scholarship, this is less enticing to a player than a full or partial scholarship offer - see the thread titled College FAQs from a little while back for more info on this!
