Resulting Stats (in a neutral, modern Major League envirnment) VS Expected Current (MLB)
What is the difference between Resulting Stats (in a neutral, modern Major League envirnment) and Expected Current (MLB) in the batting ratings of the editor of players?

Example
Let’s say you are playing regular historical year 1907 and you have Nap Lajoie on your team and wonder how he would have done regarding HRs in a modern setting. You can look at this editor page and see with his rating, he would hit 30 HRs in the modern game. To me this is more of an interesting but not necessary feature. The expected outcome shows how he will do in the current season, 1907 (maybe 12 HRs?). Any deviation from that is basically due to randomness. Hope that helps. |

I wish we knew what the average numbers were for the "neutral, modern major league environment". That would help contextualize that further.
Basically, what would be the League Totals for that environment? |

I could very well be wrong but I think I read somewhere that it was the 1998 season. It would be nice to see confirmation.

Based on the description you'd assume it would be constantly updated to last year but it isn't. One of the devs confirmed this responding to my question about it. Memory is he said it was about 2010.
