Help!! I have a franchise from the ootp 23 game! Please help me import it!

Download demo of v24, install and import there. Then you can import that into 25.

What he said. The demo version of 24 is here so you can walk it up to 24 via import and then to 25.

Thanks! But, it says I need a key. How I access the demo portion? Obviously I can't buy this.

You don't have to get into the game part where it needs the key. Just use the "import from 23" function from the title page menu. Once you do that you won't be able to play the game in 24 (the key issue) but you will have a game saved in the OOTP24 format. Ready to itself be imported into OOTP25.

Sorry if I'm posting this multiple times, but I have a similar post in the tech support forum (and whattayouknow, that's this same forum - apologies).

What do I do if I'm running on Steam/Linux, have OOTP23, and want to upgrade to OOTP25? There doesn't appear to be a way to get OOTP24 in Steam, and no way to download a Linux version on the downloads page.

I don't think it matters if you move a game from 23 to 24 via Steam or not. Here is Lukas saying as much in post #6:

Thanks, but that link indicates that you can just go download OOTP24 under Steam and upgrade that way. But OOTP24 is no longer available via Steam. And there are no non-Steam OOTP24 Linux install packages, only Win/Mac.
