Changing roster formation as Manager-Only

I've decided to play as Manager-Only of this year's Phillies for a challenge. The computer GM has split the roster to 13 position players and 13 pitchers. Is there any way that I can alter that, or at the very least, request for the GM to change it? I have pitchers that I don't want or need.

There are league settings (under the AI settings tab) where you define how many position players and pitchers the AI should put on the roster
