FHM11: Simulation speed extremely slow

When starting a fresh game(current season) with default settings and every league turned off except for the CHL leagues, the USHL+NCAA, ECHL, and KHL, it takes about 10 minutes to simulate from August to October as an unemployed GM. And when the actual NHL season starts it's even slower; most days take more than 30 seconds to simulate. I haven't see much complaints so I don't know if this an issue on my end or the game but I can't seem to fix it. I am on a PC(Steam) running a 3060ti, Ryzen 5 5600x, 16gb RAM, SSD, and 100+GB of free storage. I have tried taking off all leagues, changing settings, reinstalling, and don't notice a difference in speed. I am hoping for a response to see if a fix to this is in the works or not. It makes the game pretty unenjoyable in my opinion.

There shouldn't be any significant slowdown from FHM10. You could try switching the simulation options (File menu Setup/Options screen) to use classic mode for simulating all games, that will speed up the in-season and preseason part but not the offseason.
