Owner wants a player that doesn't exist

Well, they do exist, but they're 14 and of course have never been on my team. Drew Connor.

Would also be helpful if names were clickable on this screen

I think that might be a case of the player retiring and his old internal ID getting used for a newly-created player. The owner goal system should be shutting down the goal when the retirement happens, we'll see why it's not doing that.

Owner request can't be done

In my case, I had the Canadiens owner asking me to sign a player who has good chemistry with Cole Caufield. The only player listed was Caufield's brother, who is not an NHLer -- just a .5-star.

I also re-signed Slafkovski at the owner's request, but still got penalized as if I hadn't signed him.

I may need to put in a minimum talent level for that one, but it wouldn't be high enough to disallow Brock Caufield in this case...there are a couple of guys in real life on NHL contracts now who wouldn't have them if not for their brother/father.

I had the same thing happen where the owner asked me to resign filip gustavfson (not sure on spelling) so i resigned him and still failed the request somehow.

As a Flames fan, Freddie Hamilton comes to mind.

I feel like that had more to do with Dougie than the owner... this particular scenario feels like it would fit better as a player morale thing than owner goal. I'd be surprised if Calgary's owner even knew Dougie had a brother.
