NHL AI Teams Shopping Possible Waiver Loss For Picks?
One of the new features Jeff mentioned in an early preview video was that if the AI had to put a player on waivers they thought that they might lose, they'd shop the player for a pick first.
Does that include shopping the player to a Human GM? I'm 3 seasons in and have yet to be offered a trade for a low pick from a guy who was going to go on waivers - and there were a few I would've happily paid for to get the guy I wanted. |

It should shop to humans as well. There's a minimum talent threshold for that shopping to occur, though - it has to be a player the AI is very sure will get picked up on waivers, otherwise they'll risk it.

In my game, LA placed Arthur Kaliyev on waivers. He of course got claimed. I wasn't offered a trade to see if I wanted him prior.
What is the threshold? |

It looks like he's just under the threshold for getting shopped, but it's using current ability instead of potential, we should probably change that.
