Unassisted Triple Play

That rarest of plays just happened in my sim.

I've got my two fastest players on 1st and 2nd with no outs and Brent Rooker up to the plate. I call for the run and hit and he swings and lines it to Jose Caballero at short.

Interesting animation, in that Caballero develops super human speed to catch up with the runner from first.

Love it!
For those who think this game should be more "real" that play with the fielder running at super speed is just crazy good!!!

I actually saw an unassisted triple play in real life. Runners on 1st and 2nd take off on hit & run. Batter hits line drive up the middle, short stop catches it, steps on second and tags runner coming from first before he could turn around and get back to first.

That's likely what happened here. Lack of animations lead to the super speed.

That was exactly what happened here. But the timing of the play had the runner so close to first that the fielder had to turn into Superman in order for the play to show up on the animation.
