Contract bonus demand bug?

Unless the rules for bonuses aren't what is stated on the screen, it seems like the player shouldn't be able to ask for such bonuses? (He was not injured at all last season.)

No, not over 35, no major injury the previous season, so not eligible. We'll have to check the code. Were there any major injuries (over 100 days long) in his history prior to last year? I'm wondering if the timeframe we're checking might be wrong.

No, nothing at all. This is at the tail end (April) of the first season of a new game, so there's no prior history. His bio page is blank.
