Black Screen of Death

For some reason, a few days ago, my OOTP 25 when clicked opens up a window, but its contents are black, and I cannot interact with anything inside it (that I can see).

I tried a reinstall, which did not fix the problem.

However, I was watching task manager and the hard drive was hauling buns when I first ran it, which tells me that OOTP is running - just not displaying anything.

Is there a way to reset the OOTP display settings? What information can I help provide for troubleshooting purposes?

FastSpring or Steam? Did the Task Manager show OOTP25? It should. Whitelist the program on whatever your computer protection is. Since you can't ID any change you did, maybe it got an update and is blocking it based on an overprotective update triggering a false positive.

Yes, I can absolutely see OOTP25 in the task manager.

I've whitelisted OOTP25 in Windows Firewall, but the issue persists.

What would be my next steps?

At this point I've done the following:

Uninstall/Reinstall of OOTP
Download/Install latest drivers of my graphics card
Quick Reinstall of the OS (not Reset my PC, the level before it)

And not had a lot of luck.

On the Settings (from the main page), go to Troubleshooting and see if there is a button to Force install. It still feels like some critical element of the install is getting blocked. I wish I knew more but wanted to bump this with that suggestion.
