Bottle Bats

It is time to change the "Power" development option in the development Lab to "Have a Bottle Bat designed."

Is this trendy? You bet your bippie.

However, it is also directly in the spirit of the OOTP developement project part of the game. Coaches would take the player thrugh tapes of his ABs to determinde where on the bat he usually makes solid conract -- which is how these bats are designe. This process may or may not provide a new solution. If it does-- Great! If not nothing happens. I would change the success code in the game, simply the label on the training program.

I think OP is talking about the "latest" craze of torpedo bats. However, it confused me because bottle bats were a thing during the deadball era, specially the 1920s.
