Historic Play Feature Request

I'd like to request a historic play feature that's been lacking for years (as far as I could tell) but would do WONDERS for improving OOTP's integration with tabletop baseball sims and replay games:

Let us choose a specific date for historic exhibition games.

We can do historic replays and OOTP has the data for active rosters on any particular date. Please allow us to choose a historic exhibition game between two teams and select a roster date for those games.

I think the best way would be to default to the same roster date for both teams (play the April 15, 1972 series), but perhaps separate dates could be chosen when playing two teams from different eras. "Beginning of year roster" and "world series roster" could be default options.

This would help immensely for people (like me!) who like to do a full-season replay using multiple games.
