Like your other post about catcher framing, it is 3 years old. A lot has changed in this game since OOTP 24. One year avoid K and Gap power is dominate, one year Eye and Power are the thing to chase like last year, then it might be about BABIP and something else down the road. Stuff that is 3 or 4 years old is not really relevant now in the game because it has had such a face lift the past two years that ALL of this info would have to be re-tested to see if it is even close to being accurate anymore.

Are there any general and indepth posts on the forums which run through what these changes you speak of mean? One reason I simply turn to search engines is because they bring up information better than forum searches.

The game is constantly being tweaked/balanced. I would look at the stats the game provides and recommend not relying on anyone that says they have cracked some kind of game formula...especially if they do not include the methods/data that lead to their conclusions.
