Smile Creating a Fictional League Based on Historical Bests

Hi All,
I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere - but I could not find it when I searched.

I am looking to create a league that features every (current) MLB team with the best players from each team's history - using the best season from their career. So, for example, if I were adding Don Mattingly to the Yankees, I would want to take his ratings from 1984 or 1985, while if I were adding George Brett to the Royals, I'd likely want ratings from 1980.

I don't see an obvious way to export out a player and import them into a newly created league... any ideas or thoughts? Any utilities that might do this? Or - has anyone done it and has tips?

Thanks in advance!

I found the historical player import - it'll do the trick!

Back in 2009 I found some OOTP games in add-ons that several people had made that did exactly what you were looking for. "Cooperstown Baseball League" had 50-player rosters of the best players from each team's history. "All-Time MLB Teams" was composed of one season's roster from each team, set in the modern format 2 leagues, 3 divisions in each, total of 30 teams. For example, the '69 Orioles, the '12 Red Sox, & the '27 Yankees were all in the same division. I also found "Great Teams Tournaments" which had 128 historical teams from the past in two leagues. Each league had four divisions with 16 teams in each, playing a 154-game schedule. I have kept all three of these OOTP games updated with each new version since OOTP 9, so they are playable in OOTP 25 (even though I don't play them every year). If you're interested I could get them to you so you could see what they look like in action. I also have a "Negro Leagues Baseball" OOTP game if you would like that as well. 22 teams in a 154-game schedule.
