Players not being signed/dressed

I've been running a simulation save, where my friends and I make players who play in the league and simulate their careers.

It's been running into a big issue lately where these players are leaving a team, entering free agency, and then not signing onto teams.

If I force the player onto a team, they won't play. When I take over the team, they are impossible to dress.
