How can I change where the saved files go.
ie Instead of Documents/out of the park developments/ootp23

My C drive is getting close to being full.

Thanks in advance

When I first got my computer I moved the documents folder to the E Drive. Suggest you get all your data off C. However I don't know if there's a problem doing it now.

Google move documents folder to another drive and select the info for your OS.

Are you running OOTP through Steam? If yes, I highly recommend moving your Steam Library to another drive (physical or just partitioned), preferably a SSD.

Otherwise, you can move your files outside of OOTP to wherever you want, then go to Settings > Expert > Custom Data Path, and select the path you moved the files too. I used to do that, but I had issues with updates until a dev recommended I move my Steam Library and since then I've not had any issues.

How is your computer setup? Do you have a drive C and a drive D or just a drive C? If you only have one internal physical drive and it's full then you should probably add another physical drive, or at least move stuff off of it that you don't need to often access. If you only have a HDD, get an SSD and partition it to be your C and D drives and use the HDD only as storage that you don't often need to access. If you only have an SSD, but it's full, again move what you don't often access off it, and maybe you can get by with just it, or buy another SSD and use both.

Whatever the case may be, I highly recommend separating your OS and programs from your data and user folders by putting the latter on a drive D. That way if something happens to your OS, you can just reinstall your OS and not risk losing your data too. And as always, also backup your data to another physical drive, preferably one at a different location!

In the last 2 days, I moved all almanacs from 7 different leagues to an external because my hard drive was almost full, and it freed up half my hard drive. And this laptop is only used for OOTP.
