When I click on something in the game, I have to move the mouse in order to get it to appear. This even happens at the main startup screen when I click on "Continue League." I have to move the mouse in order for the screen to display the league. Also, I cannot access some of the game's functions. I can go in to the individual team screens, but I can't get to the "Transactions" and "Team Setup" screens, among others. Until I can get a new PC later this summer, I run a Compaq with a 500 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM, Windows 98, and I have all of my drivers updated to my knowledge. Even though this isn't a great system to run the game on, it does meet all the minimum and recommended requirements, so I cannot understand why I am having these problems.

Even though your system appears to meet minimum requirements, if you have practically ANYTHING more than the game running you will probably run up against issues. I would recommend getting some additional RAM as it is quite inexpensive right now. That would help matters.

I'd be willing to bet that the culprit is RAM. My laptop is much slower (Pentium 2/333mhz), but I have 128mb of RAM, and I don't have issues like that. The game actually runs pretty well, which was a concern for me.
RAM is also the cheapest thing you can add. ![]() --Eriq. |
