Almost no transfers in custom game during like 5 years

Hello,

Thanks for great game!

As per subject I got almost no transfers in custom game, there is like at most 1,2 per season only for best players

Uploaded save name:

notransfers05042k25.lg

Maybe I am wrong even though see this in different setups

I think it's primarily down to the transfer system mainly being designed to work with a real-world setup with a very large number of potential leagues and teams to approach with transfer offers. With the smaller custom league sizes, it's more difficult to find situations where the transfers can work, even with the trading frequency (which also affects transfers) turned all the way up. I think we'll have to take a look at ways to adjust that for smaller environments.

So I have created custom world with almost 30 Real Leagues with real teams from Standard Games (League Values the same as in standard + teams number per league the same).

Still it seems no transfers

Should I add junior leagues or farm leagues to that?

Save Game name :

TRUECUSTOMWORLD2

Maybe automatically change transfer deadline has sth to do with it? (Game creation deadline is dofferent than thisnin game)

I did some research in the source code and also looked into the save and found a few possible improvements for transfers (especially in fictional games but also modern games).

No problem, I had to set Non-NHL leagues in custom game into maxinum of 18 player older then 23 so that undrafted players can have more chance to made into nhl

Taking to account what i see in standard games is that at the moment when clubs starting to sign most of players to one year contracts (due to I believe lower potential ability than at beginningof the gane), transfer number start to fall. Maybe the case here is also that sometimes a lot of lower league clubs are in highest league (after some years e.g. 2040) for given country and this fak it out somehow too.

This case is very similar I believe what is seen in custom games in game beginning where contracts are also one year mostly
