Special Rules & Settings: Custom financials (see Rules link). Coaching and scouting disabled (so 100% scouting accuracy). Two subleagues, two divisions each so 5 teams in every division. No interleague play, best-of-7 division series, best-of-7 league championship series, best-of-9 WBA Championship Series. New owners may move teams but must keep them within the divisional geography. 1995 statistical settings were used for league creation; more/less offense and more/less pitching league evolution settings were originally left ON with all other evolution off, however statistical issues have caused us to move to a modified era_stats file to control statistical output. Stats+ is used for league functions where possible.

All of that and more explained in the rules link above. There are several custom tools pages that I coded to make participation easier. These include financial snapshots, a backup team export file upload tool, a page that checks for any contracts outside of league rules, position check for players being assigned incorrect positions, and a DFA status page that allows owners to check to see if they need to take care of any DFA issues without having to get into the game. Fantastic league with a committed commish. We are about to head into the offseason so it's a perfect time to jump in.

Tokyo has the #1 farm system in the league and a decent group of talent already in the bigs.

Detroit is sitting in a great financial position and has a good mix of talent in the minors.

Seconding that this is a great league! Here's a list of pros and cons for this league:

Pro: skilled and friendly gms
Pro: active slack chat
Pro: some of the more time-consuming settings for a manager are disabled. No player option years to worry about, no coaches, injury settings are low. No worrying about something terrible happening because you had a busy week and missed a couple exports.
Pro: it's a "worldwide" league, so there's tons of variety in player names. No more getting your three Juan Hernandez's and two Jose Hernandez's confused.

Tokyo has a solid roster, a great farm system, but will need a steady hand with some financial concerns potentially building.

Chicago could benefit from a quick rebuild, but has the financial flexibility to get aggressive during the next offseason.

Toyko and Chicago are open. We are the end of the season. Playoffs just finished. All arbitration and extensions can be decided now. Super competitive league with experienced GMs.

Tokyo is fresh off a playoff appearance. They are brimming with young talent but need a deft hand to balance financial constraints.

Chicago is in the midst of a rebuild phase but will have loads of cash and the chance to build with top prospects.

54th season is coming up! We are heading into free agency in the next few days.

Detroit and Tokyo are open.

Detroit is a rebuild project with some decent pieces already on the farm.

Tokyo is a playoff contender with the 3rd ranked system.

We have a great group of GMs that have been together for many years. Easy group to get along with. Lots of support for new GMs if needed.
