How do you get the exact players single seasons ratings when importing a historical team?

I have been trying to import teams to a league. However, the batting averages ratings are not right. For example, the1927 NY Yankees stats are off. When I reviewed his ratings, his average was .291 not .356. Home Runs were correct at 61. I tried different settings but could not get the correct formula. Other players. had the same issue. How can you get the correct ratings which translates to the right stats when importing the teams for players?

If the league totals are not the same as 1927 then the players ratings will result in different stats.

I did not know that. Thanks. Home Runs were the same but not Batting averages. Interesting.
