One of my FTP teams pulled this card. I sent him to the variant auctions and a couple of days later I received 111,000 PP's from the sale. I converted that via the Halladay mission into Roy Halladay, Cy Young (bought to finish 2 of the 5 missions), and Bobby Jenks, John Anderson, and Sammy Sosa pulled from the HD packs associated with some of the missions.

the initial post is pretty irrelevant. he could have been posted for minimum or 50k and the outcome would have been the same.

So, I respond to the OP's enthusiasm in drawing a silver variant and getting a nice haul and what he was able to do with it. And I end up with an infraction.

cwhitman takes his valuable time to NOT share in the OP's joy over his good news, as I did, but rather to send me a passive aggressive message that I'm an idiot. And I end up with an infraction.

I have leveled up 10's of Combinators now Variants and am a regular observer of the now Variant Marketplace. I am WELL aware of how things work and a keen observer of what sellers initially list. The demand for the card drives the price NOT the initial listing.

I shared in the OP's joy then I asked what OP listed for so that some out there might possibly catch on that opening price doesn't have to be ridiculously high to end up with a nice return. I get it some post high for bait to see if someone is desperate for the card, ends up paying a ridiculous price and if no one takes the bait they cancel and post lower. I know, I've done it myself.

Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark encounters a sword wielding foe who goes through a dazzling, ominously threatening display of swordsmanship. Indiana is doomed, except he pulls his revolver out and shoots him in the forehead.

That's all I did. I passed on the fancy passive aggressive poopy and shot Captain Obvious in the forehead.

The OP was happy. I shared in his joy. There was NO reason whatsoever for an analytical breakdown of what I wrote. What's the analysis for in a thread like this? It was pointless unnecessary response by cwhitman, period.

Yes, my response to him should have been snipped (not in entirety). The infraction needs to be removed. If not, I'm not spending another dime here.
