Problem Forming Playoff Roster

Just completed the regular season. Now is time to set playoff roster. Two players who are playoff eligible were left off initially, by AI? When I try to move them to playoff roster I get the message "To remove a player from the secondary roster you must first place them on waivers."
I tried several times with same message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are those players on the IL? Are they on the secondary roster?
What playoff roster rules are you using?
Has the series started yet? Those are the things I would check.
ON the organization page, make sure you are looking at the eligible for playoff roster and the playoff roster, not the secondary or active rosters.

You need to make sure you are adjusting the playoff roster from the playoff page of the rosters section.
