OOTP 26 Questions on Pro/Rel

I have a few questions about Promotion/Relegation for OOTP 26 in hopes that someone already knows (instead of me having to spend a lot of time running tests). I'm fine with running the tests, but I thought this may be faster.

(If this should be in a different sub-forum, please move as necessary).

1) What problems exist for Pro/Rel in 2026 that I should be aware of (I haven't tried it in any OOTP before, so "same as in 2025," doesn't really help - unless there's a link to a different thread where I can read it).

2) Does having minor leagues cause problems for Pro/Rel? The idea would be to create each major league with their own affiliated minor leagues (one AAA league, one AA, etc.), and then promote/relegate for each of the major leagues. If so, what problems would this cause?

a) Example 1: I have one Major League with a Reputation of 10, their AAA at 9, AA at 8, etc. I have a second Major League with a Reputation of 8, their AAA at 7, AA at 6, etc. If I relegate the worst team from the first Major League to the second, will I have to manually assign each of that team's minor league teams to the second Major League's minor leagues? Would it happen automatically? Or would something break? Or would the first and second major leagues each need to have their affiliated minor leagues at the same reputation level (Example: all AAA at 7, AA at 6, etc.)?

b) Example 2: If Pro/Rel is set to manual, could I manually promote the worst team in League 1 down to League 2, then manually move their AAA down to League 2's AAA, then AA to AA, etc.?

c) https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=319709 - this is a post about OOTP, where it says I need to create all my leagues, move all teams into Tier 1, create minor leagues for them, then move all teams into Tier 2, create minor leagues for them, etc. Is that still something that needs to be done? Or could I just move Team X's (from League 1) AAA team to League 2's AAA league, etc.?

i) If this is true, what happens when I want to add a whole new team or league? Do I have to create the new team(s), move it/them to the top tier, create the minor league teams, and then move them down each tier and create a new minor league team for them.

ii) Is there a faster way to do this?

d) Could I have the Tier 1 League with AAA, AA, A+, A, and R minor leagues; then Tier 2 with AA, A+, A, and R; Tier 3 with A+, A, and R, etc.?

3) What problems, if any, would be caused if, instead of setting up as Pro/Rel, I just create a bunch of major leagues (with affiliated minor leagues), put all of the leagues into an association, and then I manually reassign the best and worst teams to a different league WITHOUT any leagues set as Pro/Rel?

4) If I group my Major Leagues into a League Association, will they all have one Hall of Fame? Or is it a separate HoF per Major League?

5) Is there still an issue with needing to adjust financials every year? If so, what needs to be adjusted?

If anything is unclear, let me know. Thanks.
