2 out Double

A two out double does not automatically score a runner from first base...please fix this.

Why should it "automatically" score the runner?

Maybe he stumbled a bit. Maybe he just couldn't dig in enough. Maybe his D or E rating in speed really does have a negative affect. Maybe the only reason that the batter got a double in the first place was because the throw was to home plate so as to stop the runner from advancing past third.

I have never seen that a 2 out Double in real life is automatically guaranteed.

Ok...I'm an idiot...My syntax programming is a little off these days What I meant is that every single time there is a runner on 1st base with two outs and a double is hit...regardless of whether it is to left, center, right, in the gap, or just a hustle double the runner will score; no matter how slow he is or how good the outfielder's arm is. I am in my seventh season now and have not simmed a single game so I think my sample size is large enough to make this statement.

I play out nearly every single game in one of my league and have not seen this situation as an automatic. Sometimes my runner holds up at third without question, sometimes I am given the option to send him or not and sometimes he scores on his own. This just my personal experience though and if you are seeing something different than maybe you might consider saving the box scores and game logs to help show where the problem is.

I realize that by simply reasserting what I already said I will probably not convince you of the merits of my argument...All I can say is that I have been paying very close attention to this since about halfway throught my first season and have not seen one single example of a runner on first base not scoring on a double with two outs. I never even get the "send runner" query...it's just automatic. Also...do you really want me to post 100,000 game logs...and if I did would you honestly go through them?

How about this...if anyone out there notices a runner not scoring on first when a double is hit with two outs then post on this thread. Or, we could simply ask the dude if he programmed the game to always score runners from first on a two-out double.

I can't actually speak for Markus but I highly doubt that he has programmed the game that way since it wouldn't be an accurate reflection on reality.

I will pay more attention to this and if it dawns on me once it actually happens then I'll see what I can do about posting some more information.

I can say without a doubt that I have not seen this as a problem with my personal experiences. I wouldn't think that 100,000 game logs would be necessary but I would think that if this happens as commonly as you claim then it should happen nearly every 1 or 2 games. Supplying game logs from 10 or 20 games shouldn't be all that difficult.
