Importing real rookies
I'm actually playing Season Ticket Baseball ver. 2, but this board seems to be alot busier and the games are virtually identical.
We are playing a fictional leage, the start year was 2001. At the conclusion of the 2001 season, I received the "import real rookies" message, and proceeded to import my rookies with no prob. This year, after 2002, I have just finished the season. However, when I Proceed to Next Season, it has not asked me if I want to import real rookies this year. After backing up the league, I have proceeded to the draft, and it's all fictional players. Why wasn't I given the option to import real rookies in this season? Thanks, mcdoffer |

Because you are only asked to import in "historical" leagues and as the game is a couple of years old that would make the rookie class you are speaking of "future" at the time so you wouldn't be prompted to import in the future.

Ahh, thanks. I'll just import the rookies to a separate team and conduct the draft outside the game, then put them on the appropriate teams.
thanks |
