I'm the Jays in this league

...and managed to somehow make the playoffs. In a one game tie breaking series with Boston, I won the division, and thought "Woo hoo! I get to play Seattle, the team with a pythagorean record of below .500! I am the champion!" Turns out I play Boston.

...The wild card team can't play a team in their division first round, so why don't I play Seattle?

Because OOTP uses its own rules for postseason matchups?

The playoffs only need to have some more qualifier options added and the ability to drap and drop matchups and the postseason would be set.
