What files do you need to export? I always zip up all the files in the car2001.lg folder except for box scores, logs, logos, etc (anything in it's own folder) And when the owners try changing their roster, it crashes when they try doing anything on the transaction page. Otherwise it works fine. Any ideas?

Your owners need to each make folders within their league folder called BOX, NEWS, LOGOS and EXPIMP.
Then it should not crash for them [ January 03, 2002: Message edited by: Tiger Fan ]</p>

That's right, and also the files in the "NEWS" directory should be included in your league file. Without these files GM's cannot see player devel changes, transactions, injuries, team and league history etc.. What most Commishes do is just zip up the entire .LG directory, though some of the files are not required (like the BMP images, box scores, & game logs).

thanks, guys. I assumed everyone had those folders, but apparently not. So far one of the people it's crashing for is no longer having it crash. 1/1 = 100%. Hopefully I'll enlarge the sample size soon though.

When I was a commish, I just included the box/log files for the sim I just did. That way, the gm's can each have them but they don't have to worry about a 3MB dowload by end of the season. I also deleted the old exp files so they didn't accidentally send an old lineup in. Obviously, if they don't delete their own, it doesn't help, but I tried!
Bottom line was that the zipped up .lg file remained around 1.5 MB. In the league I am in now, we are starting our 8th season, the zipped up file at the start of the year is almost 2mb. Eventually, that player.dat file gets big, no way around it unless you compress it more.
