Just started playing, and need some tips

I'm trying to play fictional and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on sorting players to get an idea of how good they are. Back in OOTP 5/6/etc I would always sort by star rating and it helped immensely, but I can't seem to find anything like this

There is an overall rating out of 80 that you can use.

On most screens (transactions etc.) set the 'view ratings' to default - it will be at the far right hand of the screen, last two columns.
