Box scores and game logs aren't being created
I don't know what to say. I've never had this problem before but no box scores or game logs are being generated when I sim the games.

I thought it should work but I switched it to All Leagues to be sure - is there then any way to try and get it to create the boxscores that it didn't create before?

BTW, the game does not save boxscores from year to year; it overwrites them to save space. So if you have particular boxscores that you wish to save, you have to remember to save them elsewhere. Just thought I'd throw that in, seeing as boxscores are important to you apparently. Last edited by 1998 Yankees; 09-29-2006 at 10:07 AM. |

Actually, there is, but it is going to take you a little time.
Go to a team schedule or the league schedule and click on each games box scores/PbP and it should create them then. Quote:

Ah, you are right. I was thinking of when you are playing a live game that it creates the box score on the fly.
My mistake.

Dola,
Actually, what you said, Comedian2004, prompted me to look further while I still had things set up. Once in a while you read in here about people who are surprised to see box scores and game logs in their html folders even though they have one or both options off. It turns out that you are absolutely correct about live games and on the fly. If you play any portion of a game out ("Manage"), even just starting it and then clicking ENTIRE GAME, you get a boxscore and a game log whether you want them or not, even if the settings are off. And you don't have to actually look at either during the game to generate them. On the other hand, if you "Quick-Play" the game or auto-play the schedule, you get neither if the settings are off. Thanks for helping me to clear up that one. |
