Game crashes whenever I click certain tabs

Ok here is what I did. I created a historical league for 2007 with the Lahman. I then followed Markus' advice about importing my minor leagues from my '06 version. Did that just fine, assigned teams to affiliates, etc. I go in and start editing (roster moves, releases, FA signings, etc.) . I save the game and close it out.

I go to load it today an d it sits on 100% finalizing for about 10/15 minutes, then it loads the game. By the way, I added a 30 team HS feeder league also. Well when the game loads, i can view the feeder league and its players just fine its when I go to view the MLB teams that I have the problem. First off on the teams home page where it shows the rotation/lineups etc, every player has been changed to Joe Unknown and when I click either Roster or Transaction the game comes up with an error. I can view my coaching staffs and every thing else, its when i wanna view a teams rosters is when i get the error.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated....

Do you think you could post your league file somewhere where Markus can download it to take a look at this? After you make it available, we can log this issue and hopefully Markus can track it down.

Try one more thing. Whenever I got arbitrary crashes like that, it was because I had reinstalled the game or my hard drive was getting full with all the league files.

Take a look at whether your hard drive has more than 15 percent of free memory or empty space. If not, that created problems in my case.

Also try defragging your hard drive. The OOTP files are so extensive that they get scattered in any open spots on the hard drive. That caused frequent problems on my PC during beta testing and it was fixed every time I cleared up some space and defragged.

Let us know if this works for you.

Have you tried with the new patch? Are you still having issues? Please let us know if anything has gotten resolved for you.

No I havent yet but I am going to try it now to see if the same thing occurs.

Did you try to import the historical year 2007 using the Lahman 5.4 database? There is no data for 2007. Could that be the cause?
