Issue with Changing City of Birth

Hi,

I'm having an issue with changing the City of Birth for a player in the Player Editor screen.

PC Version - running fictional league.

Free Agent Marc Lane is listed as City of Birth is Ocilla Georgia. I click Editor, go to the City Search text box, type in Tulsa. In the Select City of Birth dropdown I select Tulsa, Oklahoma (the only entry). Whenever I navigate away from the screen, the City of Birth will reset to Ocilla, Georgia.

If there is more than one city the behavior is different. Now I search for Springfield for Mr. Lane. There are many entries in the drop down. Springfield, Massachusetts is the first entry. If choose the first entry, the change will not stick, as in the Tulsa example. If I choose any but the first entry (Illinois, for example), the change will take. If I then go back and select Springfield, Massachusetts, the change will also take. If try any city that has only one entry in the drop down, the change will still not take (again, for example, Tulsa).

The control seems to be having an issue with lists of one member, and in some instances the first member of the list. This may be related to this issue if the same control is being used: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=143336

Are you still having this issue after the first patch?

I tried to do what you said you had done, but my changes are sticking. I have the patched version of the game and I think I remember seeing this on the list of fixed issues, so let us know.

Hadn't loaded the patch until this morning - time for baseball was limited.

The drop down has a "select city" default item now. Selecting the city does indeed now work everytime. I didn't see this in the patch fix list, but I'm delighted it has been fixed.

There were fixes put into the patch that didn't make it into the patch list. Glad to know that your issue has been fixed.
