Crashes at the end of the season
Sorry to keep posting, but I simply cannot play more than a single season without crashing OOTP 2007. This is a follow up to this thread:http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=145554 with some additional information.
I set up historical leagues and release the players to schedule an inaugural draft. In addition, I delete the ML teams and re-create the league using fictional teams. Then, I regenerate a schedule and run the draft and then start playing the season. Everything works until the end of the playoffs where the "running SISA Scouting...." message appears -- and the game crashes at the "100%" mark. This happens every time. I've never been able to play more than a single season. By the way, I've tried both Lahman and Gambo's databases to no avail. Both crash at the same point at the end of the season. Any help is appreciated. I can post the data files if need be. Thanks.

What year are you importing? Also, do you have automatic expansion turned on? If you're starting it as a historical league and then essentially changing it into a fictional league with real players, that could cause a problem. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

Ah ha! Automatic Expansion appears to be the culprit. Turning that off allowed me to finish the season without crashing. Many thanks!
