Its fictional

2 leagues/4 divisions per/7 teams per

I (as far as I can remember) set it up with 1901 settings to automatically adjust to era

4 levels of minors/no feeders

the stats seemed to be fairly accurate

Can you please verify this by going into Game -> Game Setup -> League Setup -> Options (for the league in question) and reporting your settings under the Progression Options header?
