In what year can players first be suspended?

What is the earliest year in which players can be suspended for in-game incidents and for drugs?

There's no limit. Suspensions happen from the big leagues all the way down to Rookie ball.

Even had a guy in my international complex get suspended for PEDs once... wonder if they've fixed that.

Thanks, but I meant the actual year. I have a dynasty thread called No Tolerance League (it's in my signature) where every suspension is a lifetime ban. I'm currently in the year 1874, and I'm wondering when players will begin getting suspensions.

Ah, gotcha, sorry. Not sure about that myself.

I think that would've been in the game settings, when you created the league; or perhaps you have the most well behaved bunch of lads ever.

There is a setting where you can turn suspensions on and off and set their frequency. I have them on and set to very high, I can't find any other options for it.
